Thatching in miniature. With the huge interest in small thatched roof's dove cotes, dolls houses & bird tables I am now able to supply materials capable of the same detail as this - coco fibre will be more durable, it is even suitable for out door use with perfect scale size and detail. I already have done an instruction booklet for larger scale thatching, the methods are the same, just scale down form any source of thatching techniques- see DIY For those only wanting the material see below.

A before and after dolls house renovation with a 'Tudor style' thatched roof and a new 1/24 scale 'Irish' cottage 1/48 is also possible - all man made fibre, a type of faux fur glued onto expanded polystyrene sheet . If you have tried 'thatching' at this scale you will know how hard it is to get thickness and detail right, any shape, size, or design can be replicated.
